Todd Wilbur (Author of Top Secret Recipes) is one of my top favorite cookbook authors. His cookbooks were actually my saving grace when we were stationed in Okinawa, Japan for three years. Living overseas for three years we were limited to certain grocery food items, as well as a lot of our favorite restaurants.

Thank you Mr. Wilbur, you are definitely the Kitchen Clone King!

The Swedish Chef is by far one of the world's most admired chefs!
I remember when I was 10 years old and he had his own cereal called,
"Croonchy Stars"
packed with lots of cinnamony goodness! It was the best cereal ever!

I stumbled across this video of the Swedish Chef and his Uncle (Danny Kaye) on The Muppet Show! Tune in as they prepare a Swedish Turkey stuffed with Chinese Ingredients to make a Yugoslavian Dish for their International Cooking Fesival!!

Bon Apétit!

Just another Manic Monday!

 DINNER & A MOVIE

National Lampoon's Vacation brings back so many memories of when I was a child and our family took cross country road trips in our "Family Truckster". Actually it was a Tan colored Chevy Caprice Station Wagon with wood style paneling, Ha!. We took so many trips to Disneyland we knew the park like we knew the In's and Out of our home!

Monday night is Hamburger Helper night and I couldn't skip a day of blogging without sharing this video clip from the movie. It suits the mood perfectly!

I'm not too big a fan of Hamburger Helper, but I can't complain when it comes to a quick meal that taste's pretty good. The first time I tasted it was back in 1999 at a friend's house. She prepared the Stroganoff Helper. Believe it or not, I was so out of tune with meals from a box or a can that I actually asked for the recipe at the end of dinner haha!

Wishing you a fantastic week!!
